Fiji’s Ministry of Health and Medical Services has recorded 37 Zika Virus cases to date.
Minister Jone Usamate made the revelations while receiving vector equipment’s from the US Navy in Tamavua, Suva today.

Usamate says the Ministry is looking at ways to continue raising awareness on Zika and Dengue viruses.
“Zika has now gone up to 37 cases – we have a concern with that. We need to get our people to be active, to be work active and to be trained more.”
The Ministry has received microscopes and other vector equipment’s to detect mosquitoes that spread these viruses. FBC NEWS/PACNEWS [/restrict]
