Yesterday, Surangel & Sons truck carrying container accidentally hooked power lines in front of PPUC Administration office near the Ministry of Education, pulling down a power line and a street light. Power pole struck one parked vehicle, narrowly missing a pedestrian. The incident took out power to PPUC, cutting off online token purchase and PPUC phone lines. Power and service were restored in the afternoon but online token service was still offline. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
