Non-State Actors (NSA) play a vital role in policy development and implementation across the Pacific region. Ensuring civil society and private sector organizations have the capacity to participate effectively is a priority for the Pacific Islands Forum.
Palau National Scholarship Board (PNSB) has reviewed all the applications that were completed by the deadline date of July 31, 2016. Luckily for these students (about 133) who submitted their applications on time, awards are now available and PNSB began disbursing awards today just in time to meet college tuition payment deadlines.
On August 4, 2016, the Palau Environmental Quality Protection Board (EQPB) conducted a community outreach to Airai State. Representing the EQPB Board were Benjamin Yobech, Chairman of the Board, and members Jack Meltel, Alvina Timarong, and Benjamin Adelbai. Palau National Communications Corporation (PNCC) is pleased to announce that new Internet infrastructure to provide HomeNet and DSL services has been installed in Peleliu and Angaur. PNCC already supports several Wi-Fi Hotspots on both islands.
