POLICE BLOTTER-Monday, October 16, 2017

At 11:28 a.m. on October 16, Central received a call from PPUC requesting assistance at

Ngebekuu, Ngerbeched. Officers responded and learned that the driver of a PPUC boom truck reversed and hit a parked car. Jasmer Davis, M/40, was cited for Negligent/Reckless Driving.

At 9:50 p.m. on October 16, Central received a call from a male reporting that someone had broken into his house in Ngerbechcdesau, Koror. Officers responded and learned that an unknown suspect had gained entry into the house through an unlocked window or door. The suspect reportedly took 2 Chinese credit cards, $500.00 in Chinese currency, a silver Samsung cel1 phone worth $1,500.00, and a black shirt worth $100.00. The suspect left a machete behind.

This case is under investigation for Burglary and Theft in the 2ND Degree.

POLICE BLOTTER-Tuesday, October 17, 2017

At 7:34 a.m. on October 17, Central received a call from a female reporting that her employee’s barracks in Ngetkib, Airai, had been burglarized. Officers responded and learned that an unknown suspect went to the barracks around 8:00 p.m. the night before, took out the window air conditioner, and climbed through the window. The suspect took $200.00 US dollars and around 1,080 Bangladesh Taka. The suspect also harvested 4 betel nut trees. The case is under investigation for Burglary and Theft.

At 12:24 p.m. on October 17, Central received a call from Harris Elementary School reporting that some students had been drinking alcohol at school. Officers responded and learned that three Eighth Graders had been caught with a bottle of Hana Bay Rum, and they all admitted to drinking it. The three students were brought to Central for processing. They ‘were charged for Minor Possessing Alcohol and Minor Consuming Alcohol. They were cited and then released to their parents.

At 12:56 p.m. on October 17, Central received a call from a male reporting that someone had stolen his bag at Fisheries Dock the night before. Officers responded and learned that an unknown suspect had taken the victim’s Pelican box that contained the victim’s boat operator’s license, $40.00, GP cell phone worth $500.00, and betel nut chewing bag. The case is under investigation for Theft in the 2nd Degree.

At 7: 10 p.m. on October 17, Central received a call from a male reporting a drunk man at Belau Medical Clinic who was bothering people. Officers responded and arrested Watson O. Emul, M/21, for Disorderly Conduct. He \vas booked and confined at Koror Jail.

At 9:25 p.m. on October 17, Central received a call from a male reporting that another man was trying to light with him at the December Hotel in Iyebukcl, Koror. Officers responded and arrested Perney Meliong, M/42, for Disorderly Conduct. He was booked and confined at Koror Jail.

POLICE BLOTTER Wednesday, October 18, 2017

At 3:36 a.m. on October 18, Patrolling Officers heard a loud shattering noise coming from a residence in Iyebukel, Korol’, so they pulled over to investigate. Officers witnessed a male who appeared to be drunk shouting in front of a residence. Officers learned that the male had cracked the windshield and shattered the back window’ of a parked vehicle. Raymald Kanai, M/45, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. He was booked and confined at Koror Jail

At 2:26 p.m. on October 18, Central received a call from a male reporting a damaged vehicle at

M-Dock. Officers responded and learned that the vehicle belonged to a Chinese tour guide. The tour guide returned from a rock island trip to find his vehicle’s rear side window broken and his bag missing. The bag reportedly contained $800.00, 6 Airtime cards, 5 SIM cards, working permit driver’s license, and diving license. The case is under investigation.

At 10:25 p.m. on October 18, Central received a call from a female requesting assistance at Sami Retail Store in Ngetkib, Airai. The caller reported that someone may have used a stolen check to purchase items. Officers responded and learned that a Palauan male had gone to the store with a Peleliu State Government check for $333.00 to purchase a few items. Police are investigating the case for Forgery and Theft.

POLICE BLOTTER -Thursday, October 19, 2017

At 8:27 a.m. on October 19, a female walked in to Central to report that her bicycle had been stolen. Victim stated that she parked her bicycle at her house in Ngerbeched, Koror  the night before, and when she woke up this morning, the bike \vas gone. The bicycle is a white and red Trek mountain bike with red rims. The case is under investigation for Theft.

At 10:25 p.m. on October 19, a male walked in to Central to report that someone had thrown a rock at his car while he was driving in Ngerbeched, Koror on his way to Best Mart II. The car sustained minor damage on the right door. The victim stated that he knew who the suspect was. The case is under investigation for Disorderly’ Conduct and Property Damage in the 4th Degree.

POLICE BLOTTER -Friday, October 20, 2017

At 2:07 a.m. on October 20, Officers conducting a bar closure at SLC/PC encountered a drunk male who was yelling and swearing at the bar manager. Officers arrested Christopher Jefferson,

M/30, for Disorderly Conduct. He was transported to Koror Jail for confinement.

At 2:50 p.m. on October 20, Central received a call from a male reporting a disturbance at a

residence in Medalaii, Koror. Officers responded and arrested Gary Dean Meluluuch Mukui,

M/52, for Disorderly Conduct. He was booked and confined at Koror Jail.

At 6:02 p.m. on October 20, Central received a report of a fight in front of BM Store in Ngerchemai, Koror. Officers responded and learned that four Bangladeshi males approached another Bangladeshi male and beat him up. Victim sustained several injuries but refused to go to the hospital because he \vas unemployed and did not have any money for medical treatment. Police are on the lookout for the four suspects.

At 8:40 p.m. on October 20, Foot Patrol Officers witnessed a speeding vehicle almost hit several pedestrians on the road in Dngeronger, Koror. Patrol Officers pulled over the vehicle at NECO Plaza and administered an FST to the driver, which he failed. Kyle Elwel, M/Adult, was transported to Koror Jail for confinement. He was charged with DUl and Negligent/Reckless Driving.

At 8:50 p.m. on October 20, Central received a call from a female reporting that a drunk male had parked his vehicle blocking the road to her house. Officers responded and arrested Sydney

Mobel, M/Adult, for Disorderly Conduct. He was booked and confined at Koror Jail.

POLICE BLOTTER-Saturday, October 21, 2017

At 3:51 a.m. on October 21, Central received a report of a drunk male bothering the security guard at SPACO in Dngeronger, Koror. Officers responded and atTested Frederick Ikertang,

M/44, for Disorderly Conduct. He was booked and confined at Koror Jail.

At 5:20 a.m. on October 21, Central received a call from a male reporting that his car had been stolen. Victim stated that he left his car parked at the Taj Restaurant and went somewhere else in another car. \Then he returned to Taj, he saw his car pulling out of the parking lot. Victim followed his car to see where it was going. Suspect drove the victim’s car to Ngesekes and abandoned it on the side ofthe road and then fled. The case is under investigation.

At 9:45 a.m. on October 21, a male walked in to Central to report that his employee had damaged pipes that were being installed at a HANPA project in Malakal, Koror. Officers responded to the scene and learned that 1\VO employees had damaged the pipes. Ronie D. Landicho, M/41 , and Manolito C. Gundayo, M/44, were charged with Property Damage.

At 6:50 p.m. on October 21, Central received a call from a male reporting that someone was

drunk and making loud noises in Meyuns, Koror. Officers responded and arrested Odanges

Ngirametuker, M/22, for Disorderly Conduct. He was booked and confined at Korol’ Jail.

At 9:44 p.m. on October 21, Central received a call from a male reporting that someone had stolen a cell phone from a vehicle at the construction site near Palau-Japan Friendship Bridge.

Officers responded and learned that one of the flag men had left his cell phone in his bag inside his car. Another male had been inside the victim’s car earlier. When victim went to get his phone, it was gone. Cell phone is a black Samsung worth $200.00. Case is under investigation for Theft in the 3rd Degree.

POLICE BLOTTER-Sunday, October 22, 2017

At 12:50 a.m. on October 22, Patrolling Officers pulled over a speeding vehicle in Ikelau, Koror. The driver \vas uncooperative and did not want to get out of his vehicle. Police arrested Semdiu Decherong, M/43, and transported him to Koror Jail for confinement. This case is still under investigation for Negligent/Reckless Driving, Disorderly Conduct, Assaulting a Police Officer, and Resisting Arrest.

At 1:58 a.m. on October 22, Central received a call from a male reporting a car accident in

Ngerikiil, Airai. Officers responded and learned that one car rear-ended another car on the road.

Mauru O. Ngirmechaet, MJ18, was cited for Negligent/Reckless Driving, and Unregistered  Vehicle.

At 6:00 a.m. on October 22, Central received a call from a male reporting that someone had damaged his car in Medalaii, Koror. Officers responded and learned that a male suspect had thrown his coffee mug at the victim’s car, shattering the back window. The case is still under investigation for Property Damage and Disorderly Conduct.

At 6:47 a.m. on October 22, Central received a call from a male reporting a break-in at the Alii

Gift Shop in Ikelau, Koror. Officers responded and learned that unknown suspect(s) broke the

main glass door, pulled down the security cameras, and then took bottles of liquor from the cabinet. The case is still under investigation for Burglary, Theft and Property Damage.

At 1:35 a.m. on October 22, Central received a report of a vehicle accident in front of Best Mart in Ngerbeched, Koror. Officers responded and learned that one car pulled out onto the main road and collided into another car. Juliana Ngik1eb, FIS7, was cited for Negligent/Reckless Driving.

At 1:36 p.m. on October 22, Central received a call from a female reporting a drunk male at a Bangladesh Store in Ngesekes, Koror. Officers responded and arrested Gerald Usoch Ingais, M/44, for Disorderly Conduct. He was booked and confined at Koror Jail.

At 9:00 p.m. on October 22, Central received a cal1 from a female reporting a drunk male arguing with family members at a residence in Ngerchemai, Korol’. Officers responded and arrested Elyson Tatingal, M/36, and Elickson Tatingal, M!35, for Disorderly Conduct. They were booked and confined at Korol’ Jail.

At 10:30 p.m. on October 22, Central received a call from the security guard at S-Club reporting a fight in the parking lot. Officers responded and learned that 4 male suspects had beaten up a male victim. The victim was laying in the parking lot with a bloody nose and mouth. Victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. Suspects include Rubian Ngirbabul, M/25, Isechal Ngiralmau, M/22, Shawn Leeman Augustine, M/2L and Matias Kintaro, M/30. The case is still under investigation for Assault.

At 10:49 p.m. on October 22, Central received a call from a female at Sami Retail Store in Ngetkib, Airai, reporting that four male suspects had stolen a case of Asahi Dry Beer. Officers responded and learned that the four suspects had asked to credit the case of beer, and when the cashier refused, the suspects grabbed the beer and ran out. The suspects got into a car with Airai plate #5091 and fled. The case is under investigation for Theft.   [/restrict]
