October 9, 2017 (Koror, Palau) “In the howling of the wind, my wife is gone. If her departure can evoke the unity of all, and effectively improve the security of Palau, so that all the lives and property are protected, and the law is dignified, then her life is the sacrifice and the ransom, to let her soul rest in eternal peace.

[restrict] Just as she was when she was alive, doing her best to help everyone, even in her death, she continues to do so . Our family’s attitude is to resolve the opposition and hatred, to forgive the souls of the criminals and maintain respect for the law. We want to unite society and establish effective institutions and mechanisms, as soon as possible to improve the security, without delay. Because life is priceless” stated Mr. Sun Haibo, a husband of a woman who was a victim of a robbery and murder in her home last Thursday.

A candlelight vigil was held last night at Ernguul Park “in memory of those that have fallen victim to hate, crime and violence”. The vigil was attended by many chinese citizens as well as locals and other nationalities.

Mr. Sun Haibo, found his house burglarized and his wife dead after returning from picking up customers at the airport early Thursday morning Oct. 5th.

Police were called in and were able to obtain an image from a CCTV camera on the premises.  The image led to an arrest of a Mr. Kozo Seichi.

Mr. Seichi was charged with Murder in the Second Degree, a felony punishable by life imprisonment with possibility of parole and optional fine of up to $50,000 dollars.

“Together we stand united as one, regardless of race, religion or gender, and hope that our collective voice against inhumanity of the few and our universal desire for peace, love and unity shall prevail and overcome the darkness and hatred of the world”, stated Mr. Sun at a vigil for his wife.
