March 8, 2017 (Koror, Palau) Two vehicles got into an accident at Ngerbechedesau at around 7:30pm last night when a vehicle waiting in the traffic for the flagman to route traffic decided to take a change and pass waiting vehicles into an incoming traffic from Airai.

A vehicle driven by a Chinese tourist hit a car from the oncoming traffic causing injuries to his passenger. The traffic was further delayed for almost an hour waiting for the police and ambulance to clear out before it moved again.
As more and more vehicle accidents are occurring despite announcements and warnings of traffic congestion due to on-going construction, Ministry of Justice calls for more care from the driving public to be mindful of the traffic, the signage and flagmen in order to prevent accidents and possible injuries and deaths.
