The Digital Tourism Workshop hosted by PTI Australia in partnership with the Palau Chamber of Commerce andTripAdvisor was filled with tour operators, hotels and businesses interested in enhancing their online presence.


As aresult of the workshop eight businesses became new members of the Palau Chamber of Commerce. Over 40 participants filled Palasia’s Ming’s Room to listen to André Franchini, the Chief Development Officer & Co-Foudner of Hotel Link Solutions and Gary Cheng, the Sale Manager for TripAdvisor North Asia and Micronesia region.

The speakers told businesses how to best utilize their websites and manage their TripAdvisor profiles to attract visitors to their hotels and businesses. Also in attendance were students from PCC’s School of Tourism & Hospitality.

In the days after the workshop, André Franchini and Denise Ajimine of partner company M&D Web Creations as well as Gary Cheng met with interested individuals to further discuss tools they could use to boost sales and bookings and attract customers to their business.
