Dilisor Agriculture Association of Ngarchelong has received $1,500 donated by Delegate DilmaiSaiske on Thursday September 10th.
The money that has been received will go towards projects that the association is doing which involve wetland and dryland agriculture.
At the moment, Dilisor Agriculture Association of Ngarchelongis working on taro fields. Minister FaustinaMaruggwho serves as the chairwoman for the board of directors for DAAN mentioned that focusing on taro planting helps with the sedimentation, helps promote health, food security, and sustainable development goals for 2030 (SDG 2030).
Finally,the members of DAANappreciated the donation made by Delegate DilmaiSaiske for the association because it will strengthen the points mentioned above as well as economic development.
