Cinephiles enjoyed free film screenings at the PHS Multi-Purpose Room which was organized by the European Embassies in Manila in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Palau High School for the 1Oth European Film Festival in Palau.

The film festival, which ran from September 15 to 28 at 8am to 3:30pm, showed three to four movies a day throughout the scheduled screening dates.

Among the film genres shown include drama, family movies, comedy, and a film on history.

The films shown include the movie entitled Man Overboard and Behind the Clouds from Belgium, Three Wishes for Cinderella from Czech Republic, Babbetes Feast and Key House Mirror from Denmark, Windstorm and the Wild Horses from Germany, Paw from Hungary, Selfie from Hungary, and My Generation from United Kingdom.

The film festival kicked off the series of activities lined up for Palau’s celebration of its 24th year of Independence. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
