December 26, 2017 (Koror, Palau) January 11 is declared the National Prayer Day through Presidential Proclamation No. 17-226.
Republic Law RPPL 10-6 mandated that Proclamation be issued each year establishing a National Prayer Day of the Republic of Palau.

Proclamation states that Palau has long “recognized the importance of seeking the guidance of the Almighty God” and that the “central value of the Republic was the acknowledgment of God”, and that the Republic welcome all expressions of religion no matter the practice or the belief and “affirms the freedom of conscience to express one’s beliefs.”
President Tommy E. Remengesau Jr. declares January 11 as National Prayer Day and announced that a National Prayer Day gathering will be held at Palau National Capital at Ngerulmud on January 11 at 6am and invites all to join in the national prayer. [/restrict]
