The Embassy of Japan in collaboration with Ngarachamayong Cultural Center is organizing a Music Concert that will be held on December 8th, 2025 (Monday) from 6pm to 7:30pm (Doors open at 5:30 pm).

Ms. Hanaoka Hisako is a professional Japanese singer born in Kanagawa Prefecture. She graduated from the Vocal Music Department of Tokyo University of the Arts and completed the master’s program in the Opera Department at the same university at the top of her class. Aspiring to perform in musical theatre, she joined the Shiki Theatre Company. In the audition for The Phantom of the Opera, she was recognized by director Harold Prince and chosen for the role of Christine. She also appeared in other productions, including Tsu in Ikuma Dan’s opera Yuzuru. After leaving the company, she has been active in live performances and dinner shows, incorporating a wide range of genres from children’s songs to opera, J-pop, and enka. She also performed at the 30th Palauan Independence Day celebration.
