Aimeliik Official Selected for International Sustainable Tourism Training
KOROR — Jeralda Koshiba, Administrative Officer of Aimeliik State Government, has been accepted to Japan’s JICA KCCP Sustainable Tourism Resource Management and Development program. From January 28 to February 27, 2026, Koshiba will gain hands-on experience in sustainable tourism practices, learning how to balance natural resource management with local culture. Participants from 10 countries will join this international training in Hokkaido, Japan.

Administrative Officer, Jeralda Koshiba, of Aimeliik State Government, will be participating in the Sustainable Tourism Resource Management and Development (Natural Resources).  The program is created for the participants to learn the challenges and initiatives for the sustainability and development possibilities of natural tourism resources that respect the local society and culture through the practical cases of various tourism resources management and development in Japan.

Through this training Koshiba will obtain knowledge to formulate actions plans and implement these plans within her respective organization.  The training will be from January 28 to February 27, 2026 at JICA Hokkaido Center, with 10 other participating countries from around the world.
