(Continuing to support: Connecting PNCC to PCS)
On September 2, 2021, the Palau Conservation Society (PCS) received an in-kind donation of $1,000 from the Palau National Communications Corporation (PNCC). Ms. Mayumi Remengesau represented PNCC in handing their donation to Ms. Michelle Ngirutang, the Executive Director of PCS.
The PNCC establishment is an avid donor, with a strong history of supporting both local and international non-governmental organizations, community groups, schools and other numerous agencies throughout Palau. PNCC was established in 1982, a full decade before Palau declared independence.
The opening line of PNCC’s Mission, Vision and Values states: “As the national communications corporation of the Republic, we are committed to improving ourselves to best serve our customers through technological advancements, quality products and customer-focused services”. The article title “Omak er a PNCC me a PCS” is inspired by PNCC’s slogan “Omak er a Belau me a Beluulchad” which translates to “Connecting Palau to the World”.
PCS is grateful to PNCC for their continued generosity and support towards environmental conservation.
