The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) will conduct crime prevention outreach program among high schools in Palau from February 5-8.

MOJ, through the aid of various agencies such as the Bureau of Public Safety (BPS), Attorney General’s Office, Narcotics Enforcement Agency (NEA), and Anti-Human Trafficking Office, will discussed crimes committed mostly by youngsters in Palau and will raise awareness focusing on crime prevention.

Among the topics to be discussed are drugs and its bad effects, human trafficking and human rights.

The outreach program will kick off at the Palau High School on February 5 and will follow through at Emmaus High School on February 6, Belau Modekngei High School on February 7, and Palau Community College on February 8.

The outreach will also provide discussions about assistance in reporting crimes to law enforcers, among others. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
