On May 21, two applicants of the National Development Bank of Palau (NDBP) loan recipients joined the Taiwan Palau slaughterhouse program. Director Sengebau and Harley Fletcher from NDBP loan program witnessed clients Jimmy Jonas and Xavier Ngirameong sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).

Through the MOA farmers receive six piglets and feed for six months from Bureau of Agriculture (BOA). After six months the pigs will be delivered to the National Slaughter house for processing.
This is great occasion where Palau through the efforts of BOA and partnership with Taiwan will help Palau reach one step closer to food sustainability in its livestock program. [/restrict]
