Today, Judge Materne swore in assistant attorney general Kristy Stone as our newest lawyer. She will be prosecuting criminal cases.

Ms. Stone is from San Antonio, Texas. She obtained an undergraduate degree in English and History from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio in 1998. She obtained a law degree from Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, in 2001. She has previously worked as a prosecutor in several Texas counties. [/restrict]
