February 22, 2018 (Koror, Palau) Ngardmau State will take the lead in hosting the first Men’s Health Conference this year, slated on August 14, according to Minister of Health Dr. Emais Roberts at a press conference on Wednesday.

With emphasis on the Year of Good Health, events and activities are planned by various ministries that promote good health.

Last weekend, Ngardmau leadership and community joined with Ministry of Health and Bureau of Agriculture to eradicate “kebeas” within Ngardmau.

“The work brings together the community and provide a healthy activity for members of the community to participate in,” Minister Roberts added.

Minister Roberts further expressed that “being healthy means healthy body, healthy environment and healthy community.”

The work on “kebeas” eradication is planned for the entire Babeldaob as well as the outlying States as an activity that would remove the incessant invasive species and provide a healthy activity to engage the community. [/restrict]
