One of the small armada of Australian warships called port in Palau for three days, the Navy ship is one of the ships deployed to take part in Indo-Pacific Endeavour 2017.

According to internet news, HMAS Parramatta is one of the Navy ships to conduct a series of military exercises in the Indo-Pacific region.

The report said the operation is running from September 4 to November 26, Indo-Pacific Endeavour will focus on enhancing military cooperation with some of Australia’s key regional partners including Brunei, Cambodia, the Federated States of Micronesia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.

The ships   involved in the Indo-Pacific Endeavour 17 deployment will carry out joint exercises and visit regional ports.

The six Australian ships – carrying 1200 personnel – left Australia on September 4.

Led by HMAS Adelaide, the fleet is made up of HMAS Melbourne, HMAS Darwin, HMAS Toowoomba, HMAS Parramatta and HMAS Sirius.
