The Judiciary of Palau and the Pacific Judicial Strengthening Initiative (PJSI) hosted the Efficiency Workshops on August 13-17 at the Pablo Ringang Building, Koror.
Following up on workshops held in Palau in June 2017, the aim of these workshops was to promote procedural justice by focusing on the monitoring and controlling of case flow to achieve timely and efficient court performance.
Participants included judges and court personnel from all the courts of Palau who participate in interactive sessions to review efficiency and develop continuous improvement plans for their courts.
The series of workshops is one of many held by the PJSI within the Pacific and is funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, which has supported promoting the rule of law across the Pacific over recent years. (PR)
