Peleliu, Palau – Over $30,000 and 182 marijuana plants were seized during a drug raid in Peleliu in March 2024. Anna Gotlob was arrested and charged with Trafficking of a Controlled Substance.
The Office of the Attorney General filed a felony case against Gotlob on July 4, 2024. If convicted, she faces up to ten years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
According to police reports, a search warrant was executed at the residence of Gotlob and Kalingo Kangich in Koska, Peleliu. Officers found marijuana seeds, pre-rolled joints, marijuana plants, plastic bags, a scale, a ledger, and $600 in cash throughout the house. An additional $31,600 was found in one of the vehicles parked at the property.
The search also uncovered 40 marijuana trees in a barracks on the premises and an additional 142 plants growing on the lot.
Prosecutors allege these findings indicate Gotlob was involved in trafficking a controlled substance.
