March 6, 2017 (Koror, Palau) In preparation for the upcoming Micronesia Islands Forum (formerly Micronesian Executives Summit), President Remengesau had convened a team from various Ministries and agencies.

The members of the team are tasked to put together progress reports on issues and topics that were targeted during the last MCES in Palau.

The progress reports will come from Micronesia Challenge, Regional Invasive Species Council, Regional Health Committee, Regional Workforce Development Council, Regional Tourism Committee, Regional Energy Committee, Regional Transportation Committee, Pacific Islands Regional Recycling Initiative Council and Regional Communications Committee.

Additional issued added to the agenda include Climate Change, The Micronesian Center for Sustainable Future, WICHE, Immigration, U.S. Health and Human Services presentation and U.S. Department of Labor presentation.

This 22nd Micronesia Island Forum, will be another avenue for the leadership of the Micronesian region to highlight their common challenges and seek regional solutions. [/restrict]
