Everyone wants to join the Golden State Warriors next season in what is expected to be another trip to the NBA Finals after adding Kevin Durant. Add former NBA swingman turned ESPN commentator Stephen Jackson to the list.

Jackson, who worked alongside ESPN’s “The Jump” program alongside host Rachel Nichols, told her on Sunday that he will join the Warriors training camp this fall in an attempt to play a 15th NBA season.
Jackson, 38, last played for the Clippers in the 2013-14 season but played in only nine games before being waived. He announced his retirement in June 2015, ending a 14-year career in which he averaged 15.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game, including two separate stints with the Warriors.
He said in the end of June he was in shape and interested in returning to professional basketball if an opportunity presented itself.
“Just get another opportunity to get back in the game,” Jackson said last month. “I definitely didn’t leave on my terms, I wasn’t hurt and I’ve had no serious injuries my whole career so I’m ready to go. I feel good. I gave myself six months to see if I was ready and, I’m ready.”[/restrict]
