Taiwan Embassy donated a check of two thousand US dollars to the President of Palau Major League Mlib Tmetuchl on February 19th, 2021.
Mlib Tmetuchl said, he is grateful that Taiwan can provide such a generous donation to support the development of baseball sports in Palau. This donation will be used to purchase baseball equipment.
Palau Major League has worked with Taiwan International Baseball Interchange Development Association (TIBIDA) for promotion of baseball sports in Taiwan and Palau. TIBIDA planned to visit Palau last year but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Palau Major League has signed contract with TIBIDA during its visit to Palau in 2019. Both association and league agreed to promote baseball and to have friendship games in Taiwan and Palau.
