Ambassador Tseng’s easy going and open attitude made him well-liked among colleagues and friends in Palau.  He has been tireless in promoting educational exchange and close interaction between the people of Palau and Taiwan during his tenure in Palau.  He is also a staunch supporter of conservation and presented his country’s first financial commitment to invest in the Palau National Marine Sanctuary Investment Fund, a seed fund to build sustainable financing for PNMS in the future.

His successor will be Ambassador Wallace M. G. Chow who will be transferring from his post in Honolulu to Palau.  Ambassador Chow had also served in Kiribati and in New York. (L.N. Reklai/Reporter) [/restrict]
