Vice President Raynold B. Oilouch to attend 48th PIF 

August 29, 2017 (Koror, Palau) Vice President Raynold B. Oilouch will be attending the 48th PIF Leaders Meeting in Apia, Samoa from 4-8 of September 2017.

The gathering will include the Smaller Islands States Leaders Meeting (4 September); the Pacific ACP Leaders Meeting (5 September); the Official Opening of the 48th Pacific Islands Forum (5 September); the Forum Leaders Dialogue with Civil Society Organizations and Private Sector (6 September).

The 48th PIF Plenary Sessions with Associate Member and Forum Observers and Post Forum Dialogue Partners will be 7 September and the Forum Leaders Retreat is set for 8^th of September.

Palau hosted the 45^th PIF Leadership meeting in 2014 with a theme “The Ocean: Life & Future”, with the major focus on the issue of climate change amidst concern over rising sea levels and sinking islands in the Pacific Ocean. [/restrict]
