Meyuns, Palau – A 31-year-old woman, Kedoi Meyar, was found stabbed and bleeding heavily inside her car after it crashed into an embankment near Uchul a Rael area on Friday, May 31st, 2024.
Police received a report around 1:00 pm about a woman bleeding and walking on the road. Officers arrived at the scene to find Meyar inside her vehicle, heavily bleeding. The nature of her injuries did not appear consistent with those typically sustained in a car accident.
Meyar was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where she passed away while undergoing treatment. The nature of her injuries did not appear consistent with those typically sustained in a car accident. A stab wound was found on her upper arm.
An official cause of death is pending.
A suspect, Mr. Kelulau Tewid, said to be Meyar’s boyfriend, has been arrested in connection with the stabbing and is currently in custody. Both Meyar and Tewid were reportedly employed at WCTC shopping centers.
