06 December 2023– The Australian Embassy is proud to announce the 2024 Australia Awards Scholarship Recipients – Mr Takeichi Javar Gushiken, Ms Kirah Ikloi Rebelkuul and Ms Athena Tomoe Sungino.

All three students will commence their studies in January 2024. Mr Gushiken will study Masters in Information Systems at the University of Melbourne. Ms Rebelkuul will study a double Bachelors in Public Health and Human Services at the Queensland University of Technology. Ms Sungino will study at Bachelors in Exercise Science at Griffith University.
With the highly competitive 2024 intake round, the Australian Embassy congratulates Mr Gushiken, Ms Rebelkuul and Ms Sungino for securing a scholarship offer. The scholarships will pave the way for their future careers and provide them with valuable knowledge, skills and networks in Australia and around the world which will contribute to the long-term development objectives of Palau.
As recipients of the Australia Awards Scholarship, the Australia Awards family welcomes Mr Gushiken, Ms Rebelkuul and Ms Sungino!
