With a theme “Quality and Sustainability in Education for Student Success”, the conference featured number of presentations showcasing successful educational programs contributing to the quality of education in different jurisdictions.
“One of the objectives of the conference is for us to learn from each others’ successes and take what we learn from here and apply in our respective countries,” commented Minister of Education Sinton prior to the conference.
Presentations and discussions have been very intense and interesting for many participants, although with so many presentations made on varied topics, few of the programs were missed but participants are engaged in each presentation.
Teacher of the Year awardees from each jurisdiction were recognized during this event as well.
The 30th PEC is co-hosted by the Republic of Palau’s Ministry of Education, the Palau Community College, and the Pacific Resources for Education and Learning (PREL). [restrict]
