Sixty-six more dengue cases were recorded by the Belau National Hospital from December to January 20.
According to the national hospital’s report, five of the new cases were noted between January 7 to 20 alone.
Majority of those who acquired dengue fever or 74.2 percent were residents of Koror, one of the most populated states, and all of them are Palauans.
The youngest patient infected with dengue virus is a three-year old while the oldest is an 88-year old.
No death related to dengue has been reported since the outbreak declaration last year. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
