Who will answer the call for more accountability?

We are a proud and self-centered bunch, and many of us believe we are superior to others. Our pride can be so great that we might even think, ‘not me, I’m humble.’ But let’s be real, most of us could benefit from a slice of humble pie.

Nowadays, many of us are so focused on ourselves that we neglect to help others in need. Instead of stepping up to correct the problem, we often choose to record incidents of bullying, shaming, or wrongdoing on social media rather than taking action.

Our desensitization has led us to a state of zombie-like existence, where we fail to recognize evil and lack the capacity for genuine happiness for others’ achievements.

We are losing ourselves and the fundamentals of humanity, including basic morals and principles.

What is the ultimate goal we are striving for? Have we abandoned all hope for the future of humanity and future generations? Are we going to let ourselves be destroyed by a distorted view of reality without any resistance?

It is high time we woke up and recognized the imperative to be more responsible in both our personal lives and the example we set for others. We must acknowledge that our time on Earth is not solely for our own benefit, but also for the betterment of future generations. Shirking our responsibility is a luxury we can no longer afford. The question remains, if not us, then who will answer the call for more accountability? The world desperately needs it.

We must cultivate a sense of responsibility and accountability for our actions, recognizing that their impact extends beyond ourselves and endures even after we are gone.
