Ambassador Wallace M.G. Chow of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to Palau hosted a dinner for the visiting U.S. Delegation led by Honorable Robert Wilkie, Secretary of Veterans Affairs on January 17th 2020. Members of the U.S. Delegation include high-level officials from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of State, Department of Interior, Department of Defense, National Security Council, etc. Vice President Raynold Oilouch of the Republic of Palau, Ambassador Amy Hyatt of the United States, Chargé d’Affairs Wesley Knight of Australian Embassyin Palau and a Japanese guest were also present in the dinner.

During the dinner, a wide range of issues have been discussed, especially focusing on the recent Presidential election in Taiwan, Indo-Pacific Strategy, 2020 Our Ocean Conference, Coast Guard and HA/DR cooperation. All sides agreed to strengthen coordination and cooperation on projects for the future national development of Palau.
