Koror, Palau- PCS is kicking off a membership campaign specifically aimed at recruiting more people from the community to enroll in the PCS Allotment Program. For the entire month of August, PCS staff will be visiting national/state government offices and businesses to share the allotment opportunity and to assist interested individuals in filling out their allotment form application.

100% of allotment dollars go toward the PCS Endowment. One day, the hope is that the PCS Endowment Fund will provide the organization with the independence and flexibility needed to address the environmental challenges of today and those in the future. The entire PCS team is asking the community for cooperation and strongly urges everyone to sign up for the allotment program to support PCS’ Endowment Fund.

Membership Month will be led by PCS college intern, Dillon Meriang, with support from Development officer, Genna Saiske. Dillon is a 4th year student at Ming Chuan University in Taiwan majoring in International Business and Trade. Dillon’s internship is sponsored by the Palau National Scholarship Office through the Palau Fellowship Award and staff at PCS have been impressed by his leadership and creativity.

PCS thanks all current and soon-to-be allotters for their support and dedication to PCS, Palau’s first environmentally-focused conservation organization.  To learn more about the Allotment Program or to request an office visit by PCS staff, please don’t hesitate to contact Ms. Genna Saiske at 488-3993 or gsaiske@palauconservation.org.
