The Australian Embassy in Palau is set to celebrate 30 years of diplomatic relations with a festive end-of-year fun run on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The event will commence at 5:30 PM, following a check-in period from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM. Participants will run the route from the Australian Embassy to the Office of the President in Meyuns and back.
This fun run is part of a series of events marking the significant milestone in Australia-Palau relations, which began in 1994. Registration for the run is available online via a QR code posted on the Australian Embassy’s Facebook page, where participants can also find more details about the event.
The first 50 registered participants will receive special giveaways, including commemorative notebooks celebrating the 30th anniversary. The embassy’s Facebook page invites everyone to join in the festivities and emphasizes that prizes will be awarded to those who register early.
This event is not just a celebration of history but also an opportunity to provide community spirit and promote health and well-being among participants.
