The Australian Embassy is glad to announce the 2025 intake for the Australia Awards Scholarship.
The Australia Awards Scholarships are prestigious international awards offered by the Australian Government to the next generation of global leaders for development. Through study and research, recipients develop the skills and knowledge to drive change and help build enduring people-to-people links with Australia.
The Australia Awards Scholarships program will provide citizens of Palau with the opportunity to obtain a qualification at an Australian tertiary institution. Priority areas of study are health, information and communications technology, infrastructure development and management, fisheries management, engineering, agriculture, law and aviation management. The governments of Australia and Palau regularly review these areas of study together and adjust the emphasis of the program.
Seven scholarships for Palauan citizens are available for the 2025 intake:
- two (2) undergraduate awards;
- three (3) postgraduate awards; and
- two (2) aviation awards – one undergraduate and one graduate certificate.
Scholarship recipients will receive return air travel, establishment allowance, contribution to living expenses, full tuition fees, health coverage, and academic support.
