August 24, 2016 (Koror) A long-time visitor to Palau, Mr. Abe Takawo of Aomori Prefecture in northern Japan, donated 5 light weight and versatile wheelchairs to the Belau National Hospital on Wednesday with 19 of his employees.

Mr. Takawo owner of Shibata Irika Co. Ltd, a medical service supply company in Japan, first came to visit Palau 24 years ago. This was his 12th visit and he has been bringing his employees as part of their employee incentives to Palau for vacations. During this visit, he had 19 of his employees with him.
Mr. Takawo decided to make donations to Palau to express his appreciation for Palau’s beauty and hospitality.
