Original BOG Headquarters to Close Monday, December 11, 2017

September 13, 2017, Hagatna, Guam – At today’s Bank of Guam Labor Day Employee Dinner Meeting, Bank of Guam management formally announced the consolidation of the Santa Cruz Branch with their Hagatna Headquarters branch.  The consolidation will occur on Monday, December 11, 2017, 45 years to the day that Bank of Guam opened its doors to the temporary modular facility adjacent to the same site in 1972.

Board Chair, President and Chief Executive Officer Lou A. Leon Guerrero stated, “The consolidation allows us to have a more unified capital city presence, while continuing to upgrade our services throughout the island and region.”

She went on to say, “We will be reaching out to our customers to assure them that the transition will be seamless and our Santa Cruz employees will remain with the Bank of Guam.    We look forward to welcoming those who have frequented our Santa Cruz facility to whatever other branch they choose to use.”

The Bank of Guam is celebrating 45 years of operation throughout its 23 branches located in Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Belau, and San Francisco, California.
