The Pakistan government has extended an invitation to Senate President Hokkons Baules and Speaker Sabino Anastacio to attend the Golden Jubilee Celebration of the Senate of Pakistan.
Palau Minister of State Gustav Aitaro in a letter to the Olbiil Era Kelulau (OEK) leaders said that the Senate of Pakistan will provide hotel accommodations from March 21 to 23 . All delegates attending the event will also be provided transportation.
The golden jubilee festivities of the Pakistan Senate, the upper house of the Parliament, will be celebrated in March this year,
In a press release, Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has decided to hold a grand ceremony on the festive occasion. It has also been decided to invite all the Senators from 1973 to date to the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
The envoys of Iran, Turkiye, Morroco, Jordan, Sri Lanka and Brunei Darussalam called on the Senate Secretary Muhammad Qasim Samad Khan to discuss participation in Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Senate of Pakistan.

The agreement to establish diplomatic ties was signed at a solemn ceremony by Ambassador Munir Akram, representing Pakistan, and Ambassador Ilana Seid, representing Palau, at the Pakistani Mission to the United Nations in New York.
With the forging of diplomatic ties, the two countries are looking forward to cooperation on visas, political, trade, economic, cultural and education as well as other areas of mutual interest.
They also expressed satisfaction over the existing warm and cordial ties between the two nations at the UN and other multilateral forums, and resolved to further solidify these ties by diversifying the existing areas of cooperation.
