We have all been rejected… some of us have loved and lost. We all need to love and be loved.  We can’t lose God’s love. We can reject it but like a lion after its prey God’s love pursues you.

Bob Dylan wrote a wonderful song many years ago that spoke to me. The rumor is that he wrote the song in reflection of God’s love. It doesn’t matter what inspired the song.  When I question my worth as a human being I sing the song to myself. I found Adele singing the song in live concert at Albert Hall in London on Youtube.  Here it is –

When the rain is blowing on your face. And the whole world is on your case. I could offer you a warm embrace to make you feel my love.

When the evening shadows and the stars appear. And there is no one there to dry your tears, I could hold you for a million years, to make you feel my love

I know you haven’t made your mind up yet . But I will never do you wrong. I’ve known it from the moment we met. No doubt in my mind where you belong.

I’d go hungry  I’d go black and blue. I’d go crawling down the avenue. No there’s nothing I wouldn’t do to make you feel my love.

The storm is raging on the rolling sea. And on the highway of regret. The winds of change are bliwing wild and free   you aint seen nothing like me yet.

I could make happy, I could make your dreams come true. Nothing that I wouldn’t do. Go to the ends of the earth for you

To make you feel my love.
