Koror, Palau — October 18, 2025 The Belau Triathlon Federation is proud to announce that three of its rising athletes—Mark Taksiau, Ebiklou Ngiraswei, and Elengoi Gibbons—alongside esteemed coaches William Tejada and Diulareng Keane, will represent Palau at the upcoming Pacific Cup 2025, a premier Cycling Development Camp and Race to be held in New Zealand from October 12-19th.

Mark, Ebiklou, and Elongoi have demonstrated exceptional commitment and growth in the sport, earning their spots through consistent performance and dedication. Their participation marks a significant milestone for Palau’s cycling and triathlon community, showcasing the nation’s growing presence in the region.
Coaches William Tejada and Diulareng Keane, both instrumental in shaping Palau’s triathlon programs, will contribute to the camp’s coaching exchange and athlete development sessions. Their involvement underscores the Federation’s commitment to building sustainable pathways for future generations of triathletes.
In support of their journey, the athletes are actively fundraising by accepting pledges for every mile or kilometer they have been riding every Sunday prior to their departure. . This initiative not only helps cover travel and participation costs but also engages the community in a shared commitment to sport and youth development.
