The Canoe Association of Palau kicked off the Long Distance Regatta Series since September 5, with series of of four Sundays of long distance race. The 1st race was about 5miles with five teams, and the 2nd race was on Sept 19th with three teams. The 3rd part of the race series is on Oct 3 and the last one during the UN Day weekend of Oct 24th to the rock islands. The race is open to any crew, at $5.00 per paddler for every race. The Canoe Association of Palau invites anyone and crew to join the long distance regatta. The organizers can be contacted through the Palau NOC Office at 488-6562.
