The gift of encouragement is freely given if you ask GOD for it. It is needed for us to build each other up, the body of Christ, the church, our home and family. We can spread encourage and mercy in our society. In other words, like – “When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up–one on one side, one on the other–so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword. They won the war.
We can’t win any war in our life if we beat each other down at a drop of hat. Judging and vilifying each other is toxic. And as human beings we can’t breath in toxic air and expect to live a healthy life.
If you have friends like Job, who needs enemies. Their self-righteous rebukes pierce into Job’s heart like a fiery arrows. Their words are slyly given in God’s name not knowing GOD was behind it all. (JOB Chapter One… the Old Testament).
