The Palau International Coral Reef Center is grateful to accept a generous donation of $150 from the family of the late Senator Adelbairekeseoaol Adalbert Eledui.

Adelbairekeseoaol Adalbert Eledui was one of Palau’s conservation pioneers. He was instrumental in the creation of the Palau International Coral Reef Center in 1998, as well as a founder of the Palau Conservation Society. In addition, he was a strong advocate for the inclusion of the Rock Island Southern Lagoon to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The family of the late Senator expressed their desire to continue their annual donation to the Center, in honor of the foundation he worked so hard to build for the conservation of Palau’s environment.

PICRC would like to extend sincere thanks to the family of late Senator Adelbairekeseoaol Adalbert Eledui for their gracious support, especially during this difficult time for Palau’s families and economy.
