Vierra J. Toribiong is the first new and young candidate to declare his intention to run for Senate in the 12th Olbiil era Kelulau in the upcoming general election in November 2024.
Toribiong announced his candidacy on TMC Television yesterday.
Expressing a strong interest in public service, Mr. Toribiong noted in previous roles in public service. He managed Ngara-Ubeng, an organization that helped in rehabilitating juveniles convicted of crimes. He also served as a legislator in the 11th Koror State Legislature.
He said that after much discussion with his immediate family, he had decided to enter the race for a seat in the 12th Olbiil Era Kelulau Senate.
