On Tuesday, September 03, 2019 at about 8:49 a.m. the Police Central received a phone call from Mr. Felix Mereb reporting the discovery of his older brother’s, dead body at his residence in Iyebukel, Koror.

The body was identified as that of Mr. Eugario Ngiratmab who has been residing in Iyebukel for more than twenty (20) years. The 62-year-old Mr. Ngiratmab is a retired employee of the Bureau of Public Works who served for many years as road and ground project personnel. (PR)

According to the responding police officers, the body appeared to have been there for several days due to the decomposing body odor. The body was transported to the Belau National Hospital in Meyuns for further medical analysis.

According to the investigating officers, there are no evidence to suggest possible foul play however, they continue to work in collaboration with the Ministry of Health to determine the cause of death. (PR)
