President Tommy Remengesau, Jr., is my candidate because we were better off four years ago.
It takes courage to be a woman speaking up for the sake of many women raising their children alone. Many times they live from hand to mouth, from pay check topay check. Sometimes they can’t make it till next Thursday. This administration is oppressing us.
Many borrow money from relatives or friends just to buy some rice or Ramen for her children and gas for the car.
I am a retiree making less than a $1,000 a month. It’s getting really hard. And I live in my brother’s house free of rent. I pay utilities and groceries plus help because of my health. And I’ve noticed the increase of single mothers borrowing money just to tide her over until…
Wealthy people are so out of touch with the commoners. And the head of this nation is filthy rich. He has never been short of anything. Most of them are clueless of what we, the commoners are going through from day to day and week to week.
Some rich people tell us not to participate in our siukang. And they say that if you stop siukang you will have enough to last a month. That’s like saying “Stay here but don’t be Palauan.” Also “It’s like telling a Jewish man to eat pork on Sabbath.”
Please vote biblically. Salvation is FREE gift. There’s nothing you can do to buy your salvation or buy God’s love and forgiveness. It is free. The only thing Jesus said was that “GOD prefer mercy over sacrifices.”
The Bible calls for justice for the oppressed, including:
Proverbs 31:9: “Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy”
Psalm 82:3: “Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute”
Isaiah 1:17: “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and please the widow’s cause”
Don’t be deceived with their talking points and that tax law is fair. It’s not. It’s killing small businesses and lower the moral in the community.
Be merciful and kind.
Vote for the man who cares for the grassroots – the widows, the fatherless and the marginalized.
