Heirs to Our Oceans (H200) Palau has been declared an official non-government organization (NGO), as well as the Second Branch of the H200 based in San Francisco, USA, following former President Tommy Remengesau Jr.’s signing of the contract on January 20, 2021.

H200 Palau will work to expand its mission of providing opportunities for the next generation of caretaking advocates to the environment of Palau’s islands, and to the rest of the world.

The leaders of H200 Palau have said that they are excited to start this new chapter in Palau. The officers include President of the Heirs Olilai Chilton, Vice President Tublai Illilau, Secretary Ribka Kintaro, Treasurer Ann Kitalong, and Board of Directors members April Peebler, Gerda Ucharm, Santy Asanuma, and Siegfred Nakamura.

“I am thrilled to announce that Heirs to Our Ocean has officially begun in Palau and I want to extend my deepest appreciation to all members, supporters and board members who have given their time and donated their funds for activities throughout the years,” said President of the Heirs Olilai Chilton.
