Japan Host Towns for Tokyo 2020 Olympics donate sports equipment to Palau

Zao Town and Hitachiomiya City of Japan, host towns for for Palau National Olympic Team to Tokyo 2020 Olympics donated sports equipment to Palau National Olympic Committee on 9^th October 2019.

Sports equipment’s includes Baseball equipment’s, Athletics uniforms, Basketball Balls, soccer Balls, Volleyball Balls, Judo Judogi.  This sport equipment will be disseminated to each Sports federation to help with their daily programs as well as preparing our athletes for upcoming regional games and Olympic Games.

The sporting equipment’s were delivered to Palau by JS Kashima and partner vessel JS Inazuma.  These two vessels are visiting Palau with their over 500 crew members as part of the Japan Training Overseas Cruise 2019 and celebration of 25 years of good friendship and diplomatic ties between Japan and Palau.

Palau National Olympic Committee takes this opportunity and thank the Embassy of Japan in Palau, Zao Town, Hitachiomiya City and the people of Japan for their kind donation and good friendship over the years. (PR)
