Japan’s Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi is said to visit Palau after May 6, during a short Asia/Pacific tour to 3 Asian and 2 Pacific countries, Palau and Fiji.
According to a report from Japan Times, Foreign Minister Hayashi will be promoting the “Free and Open Indo-Pacific Strategy,” vision while visiting the Pacific island countries.
He is expected to meet with his counterparts while he travels through the Asian and Pacific countries. Specific dates of his arrival have not been made public.
