(Koror, Palau) Palau Supreme Court, on Wednesday, sentenced Johnston Etpison and Anthony Tellei to serve 10 years imprisonment, each, for the machete attack of Khan Francis Matsuoka on the night of July 9, 2016 at Bayside Bar in Koror.

Kobe Marbou, one of the three charged for the Assault in First Degree and Second Degree, is scheduled to be sentenced next month.
The three young men, Johnston Etpison, Anthony Tellei and Kobe Marbou, were charged and convicted of Assaults in the First and Second Degree, for attacking Khan Francis Matsuoka with knives which left him with serious life threatening injuries on July 9, 2016.
According to police reports, the three young men went to Bayside Bar, with their faces covered and attacked Matsuoka with knives, in what the prosecution stated was gang related incident.
Mr. Matsuoka had to be transported to the Philippines for medical care due to the seriousness of his injuries.
The guilty verdict was issued against the three defendants on September 13th of this year and their sentencing was set for October 19, 2016. [/restrict]
