Duke JOSEPH, Police Officer III at the Division of Maritime Security and Fish and Wild Life Protection, has been selected to attend a Knowledge Co-Creation Program (KCCP) Training in Japan. The training is titled, Policies and Countermeasures Against Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) Fishing. The course period will run from August 21 to September 17, 2022 in JICA Yokohama Center.
Participants of this training will improve their capacity to deter IUU fishing by understanding systems and actions taken in Japan and consider concrete countermeasures based on issues specific to their own country. They will participate in lectures, field visits, workshops, discussions, and presentations.
